Information We Collect

When you use OnHoldMate, we collect the following information: your email address and phone number (provided during account creation), call details including the numbers you dial, key presses you specify, and call duration, and payment information processed securely by our payment provider — we do not store your card details.

How We Use Your Information

We use your information to place calls on your behalf, navigate phone menus using your specified key presses, wait on hold, and bridge the call to your phone when a human answers. We also use your information to process payments, manage your account balance, and send you call notifications.

Call Privacy

OnHoldMate does not record your calls. During the hold phase, our system listens only for voice detection to determine when a human answers. Once the call is bridged to you, we disconnect entirely. Your conversation with the agent is completely private.

Data Storage and Security

Your data is stored securely using industry-standard encryption and security practices. We retain your account information and call history for as long as your account is active. We take reasonable measures to protect your personal information from unauthorised access, alteration, or destruction.

Account Deletion

You may delete your account at any time through your account settings. Upon deletion, all personal information including your phone number, email address, and call history will be permanently removed from our systems.

Cookies

OnHoldMate uses cookies for essential functions such as keeping you signed in, and for analytics to understand how the service is used. You can disable cookies in your browser settings, though this may affect the functionality of the service.

Your Rights

In accordance with the Australian Privacy Act, you have the right to access, correct, and delete your personal information. You can manage your data through your account settings or by contacting us directly. If you believe your privacy has been breached, you have the right to lodge a complaint with the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner (OAIC).

Children’s Privacy

OnHoldMate is not intended for use by anyone under the age of 18. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If we become aware that we have collected data from a child, we will take steps to delete it promptly.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this privacy policy from time to time. If we make significant changes, we will notify you by email or through a notice on our website. Continued use of the service after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
